The Benefits of Motocycling to the Community

Background

Motorcycle use is able to deliver significant benefits to the community in a number of areas.

   These include:

    • Reduced environmental impact;

    • Congestion reduction;

    • Reduction of pressure on parking;

    • Reduced impact on Road transport Network infrastructure;

    • Economic benefits of PTW Commuting

    • Wellbeing effects for the motorcycle user;

    • Economic benefits of motorcycle tourism

Project Description

The project will gather relevant data and information from a range of sources to support the stated benefits of motorcycling to the community. The project will present a summarised document that can be used to quickly and simply educate and raise awareness of the benefits to relevant government entities, motorcycle groups, community groups and the general community.
